- BOGGLER Rules
- ─────────────
-
- BOGGLER is a word game that challenges the players to find as many
- words as possible from a 4x4 square of random letters. Players can
- connect the letters to form words. The path connecting letters does
- not have to be straight - you can connect any letter to any other
- adjoining letter to form large words. The only restriction is that
- you can use each letter only once per word.
-
- What each player will need:
-
- 1. A pen or pencil
- 2. Something to write on
- 3. Keen observation skills
-
- After each board is set up, the players will have three minutes to
- find and write down as many words as possible. The words only count
- if they have three or more letters. When the time is up, each player
- takes a turn reading each of their words aloud. All other players
- must remove duplicated words from their list. When all duplicate
- words have been removed, each player tallies their score. Each word
- is worth one point per letter in the word. The winner of a round is
- the one with the most points. Remember - the best way to win is to
- find words that no one else has! You might want to play for a
- winning total after several rounds. If you have a large group, you
- might want to play "elimination" where the lowest scoring player of
- each round is removed from the game - the last one left wins!
